A note to Anthony Cadieux, Josephine Cadieux, and Kirk Hilts

Hello owners of barrier window systems. In case you are reading this, which Im sure you are...We would like to say some things that unfortunately we cannot while working.

Ms Cadieux...You are an evil evil person and we can all see exactly where tony gets his childish behavior from. You stink up the bathroom constantly too, its very unprofessional. When you scream at the top of your lungs every few days because something stupid happened, you probably think that we are scared but really we all laugh and make fun of you! No one cares about your diamond ring either, or your car because it is all paid for by the poor customers that get tricked into buying the high priced windows.

Tony Cadieux...Oh where do we start. Every day you throw one of your stupid childish tantrums that you think gets everyone scared. As soon as your not around we all make fun of you and make fun of how much an idiot you look when you get mad. The more angry you get, the more stupid you look. I bet the customers would love to know how much you make fun of them! No one respects you, and every one knows that you do not care one bit about us or the customers. Oh and we all know about your little habit too ;]

Kirk Hilts...Stop telling people that they cannot cancel within three days because the product is already in. Its a complete lie and you know it. You are a liar just like tony and josephine cadieux.

Barrier window systems probably started with good intentions, but over the last thirty years through all the name changes, and lawsuits, and the death of joseph cadieux, it has turned into a severely greedy machine that emits lie after lie after lie.

The same habit I know of? Locked door, lights off, low moans and slapping sound from the single occupant of the room? Some things - and people never change...

Haha i worked for Barrier in westmoreland back in '08. I sold like crazy as a sales man but when i screwed up once Tony was no longer calling me "baby". Place was probably the most corrupt business i ever worked for. Tony will probably die of cardiac arrest here soon. Surprised he hasnt already.

First - I found your blog because of my own suspicions about BW&D aka/dba "Preservation Home Specialists" - I've yet to see a single-line (Siding, Windows, Doors, GUtters, etc) company that is spending mega-bucks on TV advertising that does not have a ton of skeletons in its closet. That's what happens when a business model depends on buying customers with media advertising rather than having positive referrals from word-of-mouth. I bet Barrier spends close to as much on advertising to obtain a customer as they do on the product that is installed at the typical customer's home. Next we have the ultra-high sales commissions - paid to high-pressure salespeople who have more training in "closing" than in the products they are selling. It's just a slimy, greasy business model that will never pass the smell test. And companies like Barrier give the entire home improvement industry a serious black eye.

Now all that said - this blog is almost as bad. Terrible grammar and spelling, unsubstantiated claims, hearsay about the owners' personal affairs, etc etc - it's all very unprofessional and could actually have the opposite result that you're looking for. You don't want to land in court under libel/slander statutes. So instead - I'd urge you to go find some unhappy customers, and get some real factual accounts that you can publish. Don't embellish or hurl insults - you won't need to since the facts of each job will more than speak for themselves. I for one would like to know how much Barrier/PreservationHS charges per opening for replacement windows or per Square of vinyl siding. I'm betting it's 5-6x the industry average. I'd also like know about sales tactics used, about high-interest rate financing, about how un-trained the installers are, what kind of cob-jobs they're leaving in the field - and so on. If you really want to bring this company down - that's how you can do it. No need to post one negative word, just present the facts - the facts will speak louder than any insults.
