Lets talk about how barrier window systems get their customers. They mostly get them from telemarketing and sweepstakes advertising. They cold call customers from between 9am to 1pm, and then from 4pm to 8pm.

Barrier buys lists of customers contact information and a computer system automatically dials the numbers so that the telemarketers of barrier window systems just have to talk. They read a script talking about how you can win free windows or siding from barrier window systems and that they want to measure what you could win up in case you won anything free from barrier windows.
They do actually have a contest, but most of the time they lie and say there are other contests going on in your particular county (which is often completely untrue).
They solicit you on the phone so that they can get you to allow a salesperson to come out to your home and pressure you into buying their overpriced windows.
